I played 'Before and After Science' this evening for the first time in a long while and remembered the prints I had as a young man and how much I loved them. Thanks to Wikipedia and Google I stumbled across this site. I didn't know Peter Schmidt but was touched by his work and am astonished at the beauty of the pieces I have never seen before.
